Finally! The day has come where we ended school!!! I am oh so happy to be free for the whole Summer! I enjoyed school this year, but there is just that refreshing feeling that I get when I end something so big! Now I can fill up my calendar with fun activities, crafts, and hangouts without feeling like I have to finish school before. I am planning on making a post on my summer bucket-list like I have done before with other seasons in the past! I am sure I will have a lot to put on that list, and a lot of them will be so much fun!!! Let's now get into the other subjects of this post!
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
Thursday was our last day of school, and to celebrate we went to an Asian restaurant, and a delicious ice-cream shop next door! It wasn't as warm that day for it to feel like we were on summer break, but it still felt so good to end school!
Friday, we had a graduation party with our friends who did school with us throughout the year! My mom made some graduation certificates, and we enjoyed fresh fruit and popsicles!
Saturday, we went on a nice family bike-ride down in Boise and rode on a beautiful trail, and also to a burger place for lunch! Right next to the lunch spot was an ice-cream shop that we had to get because, well what more perfect thing to get after lunch! After our bike ride, we went to a plant store to get some flowers and indoor plants!
Throughout the week my dad and brothers surprised us girls with a bunch of pet fish! He got one for every family member, and their names are:
Sunny
Sandy
Wave
Aqua
Tropical
& Pearl
WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT ME THIS WEEK:
Today in church I learned to open God in all of your life, and to be open to his opinion not always the opinions of others. Allow Him to be in all of your life by doing everything that he would want you to do! And if he is telling you not to do something because he doesn't want that thing for you, obey, and this will be a great way to grow closer to God!
WHAT I BAKED:
This week I made a (actually 3) tiramisu cakes for a BBQ with our friends tonight! I am so excited to see how it turns out because I finally (with my mom's help) got the cream to be the perfect consistency! I have been struggling with that step, so I am so stoked that it finally worked out!
I also made a delicious Huge Spinach and Artichoke Pretzel (this is the similar recipe I used to make the one I made (buy the half-baked harvest cookbook for more recipes) for dinner, and it was oh SOOO good!!! Making again for sure! I find a bunch of dessert recipes and such from this Website!
MY NEW FAORITE HAIRSTYLE:
Bubble braids! I don't know why but I have been into this hairstyle so much this week! It takes a while but is so easy! Here is the tutorial on how to do it on yourself!
THIS WEEK'S GOALS:
To make a summer bucket-list
To make a reel of me baking strawberry cookies
Enjoy your time off!!!
